Sons of Lwala
Were very honored and excited to tell you about a documentary project that Jars was asked to participate in called Sons of Lwala. Last August the guys got together and created original scoring for the project, and even added an original song called Prisoner of Hope - heres a quick review of the story...
Milton and Fred Ochieng are two brothers from Kenya whose village sent them to America to become doctors. But after losing both parents to AIDS they are left with a heartbreaking task: to return home and finish the health clinic their father started before getting sick. Unable to raise enough money on their own, the brothers are joined by students, politicians, and a rock band who launch a fund raising drive among young people across the United States. Sons of Lwala follows Milton and Fred on their incredible journey as they find a way, despite all odds, to open their villages first hospital.

I am very blessed and honored to be granted the opportunity to participate in the B:WM/Ride:Well Tour (cross country ride) and share the African story....
I am so touched by the SoL mission. I read through the small article and felt that I needed more…I just visualized the hall and concert and all the passion and goodwill emotion that filled the room, the different voices uniting with the instruments to release a ground breaking though heavenly symphony – and Christ filling the hearts of many to unite in prayer unknowingly. I have this great feeling that the mission was accomplished?
Milton and Fred – would really love to get in touch with you. gregtendwa@gmail.com
“To become a spectator of one's own life is to escape the suffering of life.” (Oscar Wilde) I cherish the truth that lies behind that remark. We cant afford to be spectators in life!
