Field trip to the capitol with Blood:Water Mission.

Here we are. Coffee ready (mine is decaf, thank you very much) and waiting to board our early morning flight. We're with Jena and most of our board, discussing some really exciting stuff.

In a strange twist, I ended up navigating the streets of DC. This is a risk, putting me in charge like this.
Example
We went right to a lunch with Steve Garber (standing with Charlie), a dear friend and connector of hearts that beat to a similar rhythm. We brainstormed and shared some of what our hopes are for BWM, and the means by which we engage the fullness of the issues - beyond water to the blood side. I'm grateful for the way that many people, so gifted and overqualified, have come alongside us in this conversation. It's incredible to step back in these moments and see what has come of this vision that started just a few years ago.

We're off to get some dinner with Oz Guinness. More to come.
